First snippet from Mombasa , Kenya , Africa....

The backdrop : Indian Ocean view, the beach bar of the Severin Sea Lodge on North Coast, Mombasa, Kenya. Right in front of me are a German couple (with socks and sandals...the real deal) , an overweight British couple (whale size...) and two African American ladies (with purple over coated fingernails and dressed as if they are going to Iraq...). All of them are sharing the excitement of a holiday in Africa. The British chap (so fat he needs a walking stick) is sharing his snorkle trip experience with the crowd. And it went like this : "Not worth it. I tell you. We paid 75 Euro. They put us in a car for two hours to the other side of Mombasa. Then on a ferry and further onward on terrible roads. My wife got sick in the car. Thats how bad it was. Then they dropped us on a beach and we boarded an old boat. We were 30 and imagine, they only had 2 old life jackets. The see was rough so we snorkled for like 30 mins and had to go back. The ladder to step back on the boat was broken, so that they had to pull us up. When we were back on land they served us the worst barbeque on the beach. and drove us all the way back. Never seen a bloody dolphin. Not even sure there are actually dolphins in Africa...not worth it I tell you. Nothing about the people though. They are nice. They rip you off with a smile. Ha ha..... Its their system that doesn't work. That's Africa's problem.....".

Then he goes on : "Barman....do you serve real English lager here ? "

At that time one of the American ladies speaks : " You miss home too to do you ? I can't wait to go back. Nothing is organized here. They don't even have a TV program in the room"
