The leaders of Kenya are doing it again. Showing us that the only thing they care about is power play and party politics. Throwing mud at each other and each others allies. To be precise : corruption scandal mud. Primary education theft against maize scandal theft. And now that the PM made what seems a tactical mistake, he calls on Koffi Annan again. Surely a total disgrace. What is worrying is that just below the surface (a very thin one) are the sizzling 2007 election issues that have been unresolved. I am astonished how quick people still revert to tribally related comments when discussing the issues at hands when they refer to the culprits. Its all there. All the negative feelings toward the other. Its bad. And its on facebook. Those are educated people. And it makes me fear that in 2012 or before, we will be heading for disaster again. As non of those issues have been tackled. The TJRC's work is being frustrated on-goingly. The ICC process has gone underground it appears. Its also a slow process. Maybe too slow to do any good. So those tactics have also worked. And I thought this country was actually doing better than Zimbabwe.....but we are not. We are falling apart. Again :-(
