Monday Blues

We made it through the weekend....so what ?

Today is boring....it's Monday.
And on a dull day like this with that grey "not-sure-when-it-will-start-raining-and-how-hard-if it-does" look , only exiting news can make it better.

And there is none.

Nothing like

"Tiger Woods is actually a woman"
or "Global warming is a hoax , masterminded by the boat industry to sell more vessels" ,
or "The global financial crisis was a computer mishap"

No, today we read things like :
"Its a very cold winter in Europe"...so what, its winter duh.
"A building collapsed in Kiambu"...so what , that's not the first time and probably not the last.
"The pope forgives the woman that assaulted him"....so what, the bible taught him so.

"Explosion in Pakistan. Ten people dead"...so what, there were more dead last week.

So, there is nothing to do away with my Monday Blues. No exiting news.

Unless.....Burkina Faso beats Ivory Coast this evening !
