Just last week I was shaken up by an article on my newspaper site. Belgium has another serial killer. A guy admitted to having killed a young couple recently and another girl a few years ago.
Who could have guessed ....
Just a few days ago we learned about the shooting at the bus with the Togolese national soccer team on the way to Angola. Killing 3 people. No one saw that coming....
Yesterday I was shaken up by the passing of a young man I used to work with in South Africa. A young man who leaves behind , in grief , a wife and kids. That came as a surprise....
Just today we see the damage that the earthquake in Haiti has done. Hundreds , maybe thousands, of people lost their lives. Gone. Wiped out forever.
That had not been predicted....
The number of records in the 2010 logbook of drama is already quite high on this 13th of January.
I am not a record in that logbook yet and I will therefore just enjoy being here and enjoy life as much as I can.
Because you never know....
PS : and that is a good thing !
